Ossian Triple Melt
The faster an ice melter works, the lower the chance of a slip-and-fall accident happening. That’s why Ossian’s Triple Melt contains two patented accelerating agents, Activar and ProPel. In Strategic Highway Research Program testing, Triple Melt exceeded the melt value of a 50% calcium chloride blend!
Controlled Spreading: Ossian’s thorough screening process ensures that Triple Melt’s particle sizes are optimized for controlled spreading. The screening process also reduces dust and reduces cost by allowing you to melt more with less product. Triple Melt also contains an anti-caking agent for easy flow in spreaders and longer storage life.
Safer for Vegetation and Concrete: When used according to label instructions, Triple Melt won’t harm vegetation and concrete.
Triple Melt works down to temps of -15°F, and the blue indicator color means you can see exactly where you are applying the formula.
Ossian Titan
Titan is powered by ProPel, a de-icer accelerator that delivers faster melting, exceeding the melt value of a 30% calcium chloride blend.
Like Triple Melt, Titan undergoes a screening process that optimizes particle sizes and is safe for vegetation and concrete. Titan works down to temps of -5°F, and the blue indicator color makes proper application easy.
Ice Melt Application Tips
We recommend applying ice melt before a storm whenever possible. Spread the product evenly over the surface at a rate of about 1/4 to 1/2 cup per square yard. Remember – more product applied is not better! Over-application can cause damage to concrete and vegetation and won’t create a safer surface. Use a spreader, scoop or cup for easier, more even application. When melting begins and ice is separated from the surface, remove water and slush to prevent refreezing.
